Funding Forums

Presentation at the Belmont Funding ForumFunding forums help culturally and linguistically diverse (CaLD) community groups find funding for projects and advise them on how to apply.

CaLD communities often experience challenges in seeking government funding. These challenges can include finding the right funding source, understanding the application process and complying with financial accountability requirements.

To help communities overcome these difficulties, OMI established an across-government Funding Network for CaLD Communities to improve communication between the many different government departments that offer funding.

As a result, OMI has presented one metropolitan and one regional funding forum annually to inform CaLD communities about funding opportunities.

This year OMI has supported the City of Canning in hosting the 'Finding Funds Workshop', which will be held on Monday 19 June 2017 from 6.00pm to 8.30pm. To register your interest please email .
