Page introduction.

The Office of Multicultural Interests is developing a guide and toolkit to support local governments respond effectively to cultural diversity within their community. This will help support local government staff to apply the principles of multiculturalism in their service context.

This survey is designed to be completed by people who:

  • identify as being from a culturally and/or linguistically diverse background
  • have a positive story to share about their engagement with a local government association

Hearing from you about the positive experiences you have had engaging with local governments will help us understand and communicate the benefits that come from local governments doing the work of multiculturalism well. We intend to utilise some of these stories in the resources as examples of good practice.
