Ratha-yatra, or the Festival of Chariots, is a joyous event celebrated for thousands of years in the Indian holy city of Jagannatha Puri, and more recently in cities around the world such as streets of London, Paris, Sydney, Tokyo, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and on New York’s prestigious Fifth Avenue.
Perth festival will have dance, parades around Forrest Place with an opportunity to also pull the Chariot, Kirtan Meditation, Live Music performances, Vegan/Vegetarian food, Spiritual Books & Gift Shop*, Henna Art, Face Painting & more!
