Colours of Coogee

See a cultural display of dance and music at Coogee Live at the LiveLighter Community Hub, Coogee Beach Reserve, Coogee.

Harmony Fair

20 March from 1-5pm
Experience a little bit of everything at the Fair. It includes:

  • Morrocan food truck
  • Dances from around the world incdlusing Indian dancing, Belly dancing and Zumba
  • Seed and veggies swap and share
  • Library Comes Alive - hear stories from around the globe, and book a session to hear about the 'elephant in the room' topics (bookings required, see Library link below)
  • Nyungar straw weaving with artist Sharon Egan 
  • Plus take a virtual tour of the Henderson Waste Recovery Park at our Waste Education stall.

The fair takes place at the City of Cockburn Administation grounds (infront of Spearwood Library).

Hungry for Harmony

23 March 5-6pm
Can you guess where this dish is from? Young people are invited to the Cockburn Youth Centre to taste foods and guess where it's from.

Swahili/Kenyan Storytime  - Success 14 March
African drumming and dance - Success Library Saturday 25 March at 10.30am for ages 6-12 years old
