Celebrate Harmony Week with a special Story Time at The Story Place. Maryam, a Farsi speaker and our special guest storyteller, will share a favourite story from her childhood and share some of the traditions of Nowruz, which coincides with this event. The event will include all the usual fun with rhymes, songs and crafts, plus a Play Time session will follow immediately after Story Time.
Participants are invited to wear something orange to celebrate Harmony Week.
Harmony Week is about inclusiveness, respect and belonging for all Australians. Orange is the colour chosen to represent Harmony Week and wearing orange is a way to show support for cultural diversity and an inclusive Australia.
