Swim Safety Sessions believes that water safety is a shared responsibility, and that everyone should have the knowledge and skills to stay safe in and around the water.

Their program is specifically designed to cater to the needs of Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) communities, empowering multicultural women with the tools to prevent drowning incidents and increase water safety awareness.

What they offer

The pilot program, running from August to September 2023, offers a series of 90-minute sessions held at the Armadale Fitness and Aquatic Centre.

With a focus on inclusivity and cultural sensitivity, they provide a supportive and welcoming environment for all participants.

Program Details

  • Duration: 6th August to 24th September 2023
  • Venue: Armadale Fitness and Aquatic Centre
  • Sessions: 8 sessions, each lasting 90 minutes
  • Day and Time: Sundays, 6:00pm – 7:30pm
