The Chung Wah Association celebrates Chinese New Year 2025, marking the auspicious occasion of the Year of the Snake, a time of renewal and transformation.
The Perth Chinese New Year Fair promises a captivating array of cultural experiences and festivities. Attendees can immerse themselves in traditional arts and crafts, and witness colourful cultural performances, including the highly anticipated lion and dragon dances. James Street in Northbridge will be closed to traffic and will be filled will food and craft stalls. The Northbridge Piazza stage will showcase Chinese cultural performances throughout the event. Yagan Square will again be included in the festivities. The Perth Chinese New Year Fair has grown into one of the largest and most beloved community events in the City of Perth, with an annual attendance of over 40,000 visitors.
