The City of Swan, in partnership with the Department of Fire and Emergency Services and the Australian Red Cross, is pleased to invite you to participate in the Emergency Management Preparedness Program.

This initiative is part of the City of Swan's ongoing engagement with community leaders from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds to strengthen community resilience and safety. As bushfire season approaches, this session aims to educate community leaders from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds on bushfire and other natural hazard preparedness.

The presentation will cover key topics, including:

• where to get accurate information in an emergency
• understanding Emergency WA alerts and warnings
• planning where to go in an emergency
• packing an emergency kit
• managing stress during and after an emergency.
