The Perth Chinese New Year Fair, hosted by the Chung Wah Association, is back for another year to usher in the Year of the Horse!
The Perth Chinese New Year Fair promises visitors a captivating array of cultural experiences and festivities. It will feature traditional arts and crafts, delicious food as well as vibrant cultural performances, including the highly anticipated lion and dragon dances.
James Street in Northbridge will be closed to traffic and will be filled will food and craft stalls. The Northbridge Piazza stage will showcase Chinese cultural performances throughout the event and Yagan Square will again be included in the festivities. The Perth Chinese New Year Fair has grown into one of the largest and most beloved community events in the City of Perth, with an annual attendance of over 40,000 visitors.
