Join Peel Community Legal Services for What’s the Law: Scams and Fraud Awareness, a free community workshop designed especially for culturally and linguistically diverse communities. This session will help you recognise scams and protect yourself and family in Australia.
Topics covered will include:
- common scams (phone, email, text and online)
- how to protect your personal information and money
- warning signs and pressure tactics used by scammers
- what to do and where to get help if you’ve been scammed.
Light refreshments will be provided and interpretation support can be arranged upon request.
