Celebrate the Chinese festival and culture and the cultural diversity of the Western Australian community with stalls, art and craft workshops, competitions, games and rides, and colourful cultural performances.

This annual free-admission street carnival is one of the largest and most popular community events in the City of Perth, with an annual attendance of 35,000 visitors, volunteers and participants.

Rich in culture and full of entertainment, the fair will feature highly anticipated lion and dragon dances, children’s activities, cultural performances, parade, multicultural concert and food stalls.

The Perth Chinese New Year Fair will be held on Sunday, 11 January 2024, to celebrate the Lunar New Year of the Dragon. It will be held between James and Lake Street, Northbridge Piazza from 12 – 9 pm, and Yagan Square from 12 – 5pm.
