Nominations are now open for the Western Australian Multicultural Awards 2026.

The annual awards recognise the outstanding contributions of individuals and organisations to multiculturalism and culturally and linguistically diverse communities in WA. 

Nominations can be made in the following 10 categories:

  1. Outstanding Individual Achievement Award 
  2. Youth Award
  3. Community Service and Support Awards
  4. Business Award
  5. Local Government Award
  6. Premier’s Public Sector Award
  7. Artist of the Year Award
  8. Sportsperson of the Year Award
  9. Laksiri Jayasuriya Lifetime Community Service Award
  10. Sir Ronald Wilson Leadership Award.

The 2026 awards event coincides with Harmony Week, which is held from 15 to 21 March each year in Western Australia. 

Harmony Week encourages everyone to experience, explore and appreciate WA’s wealth of cultural, religious and linguistic diversity.

Nominations for the awards open today, Monday 10 November 2025 and will close in early January 2026.
